For many people, feeding the pigeons is what Trafalgar Square is all about, and by banishing the traditional sale of pigeon feed in the Square the Mayor has denied them a harmless pleasure they have enjoyed for years.

All is not lost, however!  You can still feed the Square’s birds – if you get up early enough!  As you’ll see from the background page, the birds are currently fed at 7.30am every morning – and we need people to volunteer to take part in the feeding.
